Orphan Sunday Global Webinar: Stories, Ideas, and Resources for Churches

Church leaders, ministry partners, and advocates for children and families from 42 countries joined the Orphan Sunday 2026 Global Webinar.

Through stories from different regions, practical examples, and shared resources, participants explored how churches and Christian networks can raise awareness, pray, and take action for orphaned and vulnerable children and families.

Presenters shared how churches are strengthening families, supporting caregivers, mobilizing communities, and responding to the needs of individual children. Their stories reflected one shared conviction: every church can do something.

A church does not need to begin with a large program. It can start with one prayer, one story, one sermon, or one practical act of care. That first faithful step can open hearts, strengthen a family, and inspire others to become involved.

The webinar also introduced the Orphan Sunday Toolkit, devotional, sermon outline, videos, prayer materials, and communication resources that churches can translate and adapt for their local context.
