WWO Hope groups are impacting lives in 19 countries around the world now. What started as an outreach to Ukrainian women displaced by the Russian invasion of their country in 2022, soon spread to the Hope group team training and mentoring 300 program managers and facilitators. In turn, those leaders have implemented Hope Groups for 4,097 caregivers, who care for an estimated 9,006 children.
When we face hardship and crisis for extended periods of time, it is human nature to “turn off” and desensitize to some extent. Yet, God encourages us in Galatians 6:9 “Let us not grow weary in doing good for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” As the war in Ukraine continues and attacks have intensified, the WWO family has been praying. Prayers do make a difference!
Zhenia Taradaika, a Ukrainian facilitator for WWO Hope Groups in Poland, shares how HOPE groups have helped women discover and strengthen faith in God.
