During the summer of 2023, a Polish NGO in collaboration with YWAM Poland, was able to host 30 Ukrainian children at their camps. Many of them were children who fled Ukraine because of the war last year. For many families, this was the only opportunity for their children to have a vacation because the families cannot afford to pay for their child's holiday. Children and youth were able to participate in the camp program - both the Gospel-based part (simple Bible teaching and worship) and the recreational program (lake, beach, games, fun, workshops).

What was special is that the workshop was specifically addressed for children who have experienced trauma, led by Tamara and her team from partner organisation Youth With A Mission. Over the course of several days, the children met and participated in workshops on emotions and several other important topics, and had the opportunity for personal talks on all necessary topics.
