South Asia sets sail to ending orphanhood in the region

Leaders from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Singapore, and Sri Lanka met recently in Sri Lanka to strengthen leaders who impact hundreds of families in their countries. The South Asia Without Orphans conference allowed leaders to discuss the situations facing children in their countries and share their best practices. WWO was also pleased to have a longtime friend, Phil Aspegren, Casa Viva, spend time with the group as they leaned on each other’s experiences and training to create an action plan to improve conditions for orphans and vulnerable children in the region.
