Women Leaders Powered Up In Pune!

The tide of mothers, social workers, teachers, and church leaders equipped and ready to help more children keeps rising in Pune, India following recent training. The WWO Roadmap training that was held globally in May as a hybrid of virtual and in-person training resulted in abundant requests from women leaders asking for better ways to improve the lives of the children they work with daily.

Three groups of dedicated and determined women leaders have recently celebrated the successful completion of the WWO Roadmap training in Pune, India. The training spanned 12 weeks and challenged participants to grow in their shared vision for the future of the city of Pune – a city located in the Western part of India and known for its history, culture, and educational institutions. The city is also recognized for its social work endeavors. The commitment this team of Roadmap graduates displayed while learning to address the needs of vulnerable children in their city supports this claim.

“This milestone is not an end, but a launchpad,” said Anu Silas, WWO Ambassador, South Asia. “Each participant has taken intentional steps through the Roadmap Training to equip herself to bring transformation where it is needed most. Their dedication and passion are now matched with knowledge and tools to drive lasting impact in our communities and beyond. We welcome them into the WWO family! As we go forward together, may our hands build, our hearts lead, and our steps stay aligned with God’s purpose for the orphans and vulnerable children in our nation.”
