Since 2015, Lubo has served in the leadership of World Without Orphans (WWO), passionately mentoring and coaching Christian leaders to care for orphans and vulnerable children. As a committed “voice of collaboration on behalf of orphans and vulnerable children” within global Christian networks, he strengthens regional teams and helps facilitate collaboration across the WWO community.
With over 34 years of ministry experience, Lubo has served as a pastor, CEO of a mission foundation, General Secretary of the Evangelical Alliance in the Czech Republic, and consultant with Headwind Consulting.
For the past decade, Lubo has helped shape WWO’s global initiative. Today, as partners advance the vision across Latin America, Africa, MENA, South Asia, Southeast Asia, Europe, and East Asia, he feels a particular calling to serve in the 10/40 Window regions of MENA and Asia.
Guided by 2 John 1:12 – “I have much to write to you, but I do not want to use paper and ink. Instead, I hope to come and speak with you face to face, so that our joy may be complete” – Lubo and his wife Jana are preparing to relocate to Asia in the summer of 2026. Their desire is to build personal, Gospel-centered relationships with WWO partners, believing that face-to-face engagement is essential for encouraging Christian leaders and inspiring collaborative action to care for orphans and vulnerable children.
The 10/40 Window: A Region in Need
- Home to 5.3 billion people — about two-thirds of the world’s population
- Nearly 97% of unreached people groups live here, with 3.3 billion having little to no access to the Gospel
- Over 70% of the population is under 25, many facing extreme poverty, limited education, and restricted access to healthcare
- In many communities across the 10/40 Window, children and families face significant vulnerabilities — from family breakdown to exploitation — making the need for compassionate, locally led response.
