Trained as a teacher of English and German, Lyudmyla became a Christian in her student years and received training at Petra College for Children’s Ministry in 1999. Since then, she has been involved full-time in training adults for effective ministry with children. She leads Children Mission International, an interdenominational ministry equipping Christians in Eastern Europe. Since 2015, Lyudmula has been a 4-14 Window Movement Coordinator for Eastern Europe. 

Since the start of the Russia-Ukraine war in February 2022, Lyudmyla and her team have coordinated trauma care efforts for Ukrainian children using the “OperationSAFE” (OpSAFE) program. OpSAFE is a five-day child trauma resilience camp run in cooperation with local ministries in areas of natural or man-made disaster. Children Mission is partnering with Operation SAFE International to provide psychological first-aid training for local church volunteers in conducting trauma care camps.
