Anne Kasombo

CBN Regional Director for Eastern Africa, Country Leader for WWO-Kenya

From an early age, Anne was greatly influenced by Scripture and by God’s concern for what her mother called “God’s Four” in Deuteronomy 14:28: orphans, widows, strangers and Levites.

In every organization she has worked for, Anne initiated an orphan care program and mobilized the staff and management to visit and share with orphans. She herself has also been a foster mother to teenagers.

Anne’s love for children led her to start teaching Sunday school at age 14. She has never stopped doing so and has incorporated the Superbook series as a helpful resource. She loves equipping churches with prevention tools for reducing or eradicating the vulnerability of children.

Anne holds an MBA in Strategic Management, a B.A. in Human Resources, and a diploma in Leadership and Management. She is also a Certified Professional Mediator.

Anne lives in Nairobi, Kenya with her husband, Jones, of 30 years. They have three adult children and three lovely grandchildren who fondly call her “Gigi.”
