Today 350 children in Uganda have the opportunity to receive better care and healing for trauma thanks to 70 caregivers and leaders in the country who want to see children safe and unhindered by past trauma. They attended the Child Ambassadors Camp organized by The Alliance for Uganda Without Orphans (AUWA) and its partners in early 2023. Held at Dove Nursery and Primary School Bulika, the camp offered TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention) training to families and leaders who care for children. The camp also ministered to and provided educational activities for children ages 8 to 17.
