Tamara is from Ternopil, Ukraine, and has been a full-time missionary with YWAM since 2000. She and her husband, Roman (see his separate biography), started the Touch Ministry for Children at Risk. Her mission journey includes years in Russia, Ukraine and (since 2015) in Poland. 

Tamara’s current ministry is to Polish foster families, Ukrainian orphans, refugee children, and their families through humanitarian relief, teaching of emotional intelligence, trauma intervention, and helping families stay together.
