An astute Christian leader with over 25 years of leadership experience in churches, parachurch organizations and communities, Nelson has served as a pastor, middle-level manager, deputy CEO, and now as the General Secretary and CEO of the Evangelical Alliance of Kenya. He has vast experience in peace and conflict resolution, theology, healthcare enterprise, resource mobilization, and leadership. Nelson has a passionate commitment to community transformation through the church as well as to ethical governance and leadership for the public and common good. He dreams of a world liberated from all forms of injustice, where the vulnerable poor, weak, and disadvantaged experience a just, free, equitable, and godly society for the glory of God. Nelson is an ordained evangelical minister and speaks widely on different subjects. He sits on several boards and also performs occasional duties with government entities in Kenya.
