Carmen (Menchit) Wong’s life purpose is enabling and championing children, individuals, groups, and global communities to fulfill their God-given purpose and experience life in all its fullness.  Menchit seeks to make this vision a reality by serving others through facilitating global mission partnerships for children and youth, and through coaching, mentoring and leadership development.  
 
Menchit serves in key roles in global mission movements and networks, such as serving on the Global Advisory Council for World Without Orphans, as Vice-Chairman of the International Board of the Lausanne Movement, the Global Leadership Team of the 4/14 Global Movement, the Strategy Team of Global Children’s Forum, and on the Global Steering Committee of the Lausanne Issue Network on Children-at-Risk.
 
For the last 30 years Menchit served with Compassion International, a child development ministry organization serving underprivileged children in 26 countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.  She served as country director for the Philippines office and as the international child advocacy director. 
 
Menchit is a social worker by profession.  She has a master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), a postgraduate diploma in Human Resource Development, and a diploma from the Asian Institute of Management’s Program for Development Managers.  She is a professionally trained, Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach.
 
Menchit is joyfully married to Rico Wong, to whom she looks up to as her mentor.  They are blessed with three sons, two daughters-in-law, and three grandkids.  Their family’s bible verse is Joshua 24:15, “As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”
