Jephat Chifamba

Dr. Jephat Chifamba is a University of Zimbabwe professor of Physiology, Deputy Dean of the College of Health Sciences and current chairman of the board of Zimbabwe Without Orphans. He has a passion to see children evangelized and come to know Christ, and for all children in alternative care to be served and cared for well. He is dedicated to teaching and training others in both these areas in Zimbabwe.

He served for nine years as Director for Hands of Hope Trust, an organization that partners with local churches to care for orphans in family type homes. He currently serves in a leadership role for several organizations involved in orphan care in Zimbabwe.

Jephat's greatest desire is to see every orphan come into a stable family. He has a special interest in children that are ageing out of institutions and need support to realize their best potential. He is an advocate for systemic changes that would make Zimbabwe a nation Without Orphans
