Dr. Glenn Miles currently is an independent consultant involved in evaluation research and training. He is a senior researcher with www.up-international.org based in Bern, Switzerland and a partner at www.freedomresource.org based in Chiang Mai, Thailand. He has also been serving as a researcher and lecturer at Swansea University www.swansea.ac.uk , Wales, UK.

From 2009 to 2015 he was the country representative and Asia Capacity Building Facilitator for Love146 based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. From 2000 to 2005 he served as the country representative and Children at Risk Facilitator for Tearfund UK www.tearfund.org in Cambodia. Prior to his work with TearFund,  he was the country representative and team leader for Servants to Asia’s Urban Poor in Cambodia from 1993 to 1994.

Glenn pioneered and has been facilitating a series of research projects through www.love146/research and www.gmmiles.co.uk into the vulnerabilities of sexually exploited children and young people including boys, young men, and transgenders in Cambodia, India, Thailand and the Philippines. He has also researched the demand side of sexual exploitation by interviewing sex buyers both local and expatriate.

He set up www.themessageparlour.org which provided a safe space for children in the red light area in Phnom Penh and outreach to women, children, and men - victims and clients.  Glenn also developed and rolled out the appropriate technology www.good-touch-bad-touch-asia.org flip-chart education tool for prevention of sexual abuse/exploitation of school children and www.asianyouthagainstporn.org to encourage youth to make good choices when it comes to porn.

Glenn actively sits on the board/advisory council of the human trafficking local and INGOs www.chabdai.org, www.preciouswomenministry.org, www.azalea.org/flint. 
He helped to develop and roll out the basic level www.celebratingchildrentraining.info for www.Viva.org. He teaches holistic child development, child rights, and child protection up to PhD level at www.mbts.org.my, Penang, Malaysia www.apnts.edu.ph, Manila, Philippines and www.etcollege.org/ Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He is advisor for the  www.agstalliance.org, Singapore. Additionally, two PhD students from APNTS receive supervision from Dr. Miles.

He is co-editor of 'Celebrating Children: Equipping People Working with Children and Young People in Difficult Circumstances Around the World' (2003) Paternoster/Authentic Media and 'Stopping the Traffick: A Christian Response to Sexual Exploitation & Trafficking' (2014) Regnum Books International.
