With a background in theology and over 30 years of experience as a pastor, Rephat Nyarenda is an established leader in the Zimbabwean faith community. He serves on several boards of organizations serving children, including Zimbabwe Without Orphans. As his passion to see the church care for orphans through adoption and foster care has grown over the years, he and his wife, Mavis, have adopted several children. They have also advocated for dozens of children to be placed in loving and permanent families. 

Rephat leads a local prison ministry and the transformative “Healing through Forgiveness” program. He is an active part of the Zimbabwe Without Orphans Training team. He lives in Harare with wife Mavis and their seven children.
