Guillermina (Mina) De Montalvo Podgaiskya is originally from Chihuahua, Mexico. She has a passion to help children, orphans and youth with trauma. She holds a B.S. from Campbellsville University, MDiv. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky and ABD (PhD) from Biola University in La Mirada, California.

She has worked with children and youth for 28 years. She worked as a youth minister, minister of education and worked with street children. She is a missionary serving in Kiev, Ukraine since 2003. She and her husband are involved in family and individual counseling, mentoring, and leadership development.

She is one of the authors of the Life Skills Manual for Youth and has trained people in Ukraine, Russia and Armenia on how to use and implement its materials. Her doctorate dissertation is focused on the factors that influenced graduate orphans adapt into Ukrainian society successfully. Mina is married to Gennady Podgaisky and they are blessed with two sons and one daughter (all college/university students).
