Sara Vargas has been married to Rodrigo for 25 years and they are the parents of four children. She is a pastor in the Sal da Terra Ministry in Brazil. She is also a founder and technical director of Pontes de Amor (Bridges of Love), a nonprofit organization that prepares and supports adoptive families, works for the development of orphans and vulnerable children, and offers professional training. Sara’s vision is to see every child grow up in a loving and protective family. Sara was the president of the National Association of Adoption Support Groups (ANGAAD), the membership of which includes 208 NGOs spread all over Brazil, and is now ANGAAD’s director of institutional relationships. Also, Sara is a member of the SEPAL (Serving Pastors and Leaders) governance council, which represents the Global Alliance in Brazil. She is an Orphan Sunday coordinator in Brazil, member of Christian Alliance for Orphans, and also founder and representative of World Without Orphans in Brazil.
